About Me

Ciao, 

My name is Stefano Alberti and I was born in Monza, just north of Milan in 1971.

My journey with photography began in my teenage years, when I received a Reflex film camera as a gift. It was  a moment that sparked a lifelong passion.

In 2014, I transitioned to digital photography, starting with a Nikon APS-C and eventually moving to full-frame. Along the way, I had the privilege of learning from a renowned landscape and nature photographer, who passed on not only technical knowledge but also a deep cultural appreciation and love for the art. It is a passion that still drives me today.

I love to travel and I bring my camera everywhere with me to capture beautiful scenes from around the world. One of my favourite places to travel is the green isle of Ireland, so please browse my collection of photos from there. You will find ancient castles, wild coastal scenes and the dramatic 'Dark Hedges' road in North Antrim, made famous by the Game of Thrones movies.

I continue to refine my skills through advanced courses in both shooting techniques and digital post-production. Yet, despite the tools of the trade, from graphic tablets to Photoshop, I still see photography as a form of pure craftsmanship.
